DAMECORE NYC Pop-up

DAMECORE hosted its first-ever pop-up in the Lower East Side of New York City, marking an exciting milestone for the brand. The event introduced the concept of femininity in basketball through a curated collection of reworked vintage basketball shorts with matching graphic Ts, tapping into the growing trend of women wearing basketball shorts as everyday fashion. The collection nearly sold out, underscoring the demand for a fresh perspective in women’s basketball apparel. By blending basketball culture with streetwear, DAMECORE is positioning itself as a unique entry point into the NYC streetwear scene.

A Day of Style, Community, and Culture

Thanks to our sponsors Aperol Spritz, Yave, and Juan Please, the day was filled with free drinks, music from a live DJ, and incredible energy that reflected DAMECORE’s community spirit. The event wasn’t just about the brand—it was about creating a space where basketball, style, and empowerment intersect.

Meeting the Damecore Community

One of the most powerful moments was meeting so many of you who have been following DAMECORE’s journey Seeing you come out of your way to support the launch truly meant the world, proving that DAMECORE has already built a strong and growing community in New York City.

Empowering Through Basketball and Beyond

Whether you play basketball or not, whether you’re a woman or not, the day showed how powerful it is when people come together to celebrate and support women’s basketball. DAMECORE isn’t just about apparel—it’s about a movement. By reimagining basketball-inspired fashion, we’re ushering in a new era of expression, inclusivity, and empowerment.
